The Templestowe R.S.L is a great place to hold get together of all kinds. With two spacious areas to choose from, our venue is ideal for your next party. The front room is perfect for functions of 50-150 people cocktail style, including outdoor decking with a superb outlook over nearby ranges. The back room is magnificent for smaller more intimate gatherings. The back room comfortably holds between 30-50 people.
Whether it be a 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, engagement party, celebrations of life/bereavements, club meeting or just a small private gathering, the Templestowe R.S.L function rooms offer the perfect facilities.

Please make sure when using your own equipment that everything is compatible with our venues connections prior to your function. This includes ipods, iphones, android and smart phones lap tops usb and burnt CDs and DVDs. If you are using an apple computer, please bring your own connections

You may consider one of the above options all of which are only available for hire online. There are many companies to choose from and prices are very competitive.
How long do I have the room?
This is an often asked question. Any function booked on a Sunday afternoon or a week day, the duration of the function will be agreed upon by both parties.
A Friday/Saturday night function will be booked between 7pm and midnight.
You then have 1 hour to remove all of your belongings, decorations and presents. The room must be restored back to its original state with the exception of any tables and chairs which can be left out of the room for ease of cleaning the floor area.
Any music equipment hired can remain on premises as per arranged agreement with hire company.
The Templestowe R.S.L. will take no responsibility for valuable items in your care.
You may decorate the rooms however you like,nothing may be fixed to the walls. Any decorations must be fixed to the windows using only blu-tac
No confetti or little metallic number decorations are allowed
You may have access to decorate after 2pm on the Saturday of your function.

Deposit and Bond
A deposit must be paid within 7 days of confirmations of your booking. Your deposit will then become part of your bar tab and the balance of payment must be paid at the commencement of your function.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or eftpos.
If you are making payment by cheque we will require a photo copy of your licence with a current address.
In the case of a 21st the above applies. A $500 bond must also be paid 7 days prior to the date of your function.
One security person per 50 people is mandatory and will be provided by the Temp. RSL at the rate of $40 per hour for a minimum of 5 hours. In order to comply with our liquor licence all security person/s must be provided by the Temp.s RSL
In the event of a cancellation of your function, 3 weeks notice must be given. A cancellation after this time will result in the forfeiture of any deposits or down payments already received.
However, if in this time the room is able to be re-let, all monies will be refunded.
